 My literature class experience by Mrs Smallwood has taught me to think deeply about literature, and to be open minded to other ideas. I had the opportunity to sit in on one of Esther’s 7-9 th grade classes and was delighted with her enthusiasm for the literature they were covering.  Mrs Smallwood's literature class has been such a fun class to attend this year and has been one of my favorite classes overall! Mrs Smallwood puts so much time and effort into helping me understand and enjoy the books that are assigned. I have learned so much about southern culture as well as popular southern authors.  This year of literature has been nothing short of magical. I value that Esther has provided my daughter with great books and in depth conversation. My daughter has revitalized her love of books and satisfied her desire for thoughtful conversation about books that she may not have otherwise been exposed to.
